Reset your password

You can reset your Genius Cloud password on your iOS or Android devices and on your computer (Mac or Windows).

iOS

1. In Genius Scan, tap the Settings button.

1. Go to Premium plan and account.

1. Tap Manage account...

1. Tap Change password...

1. Enter your current and new passwords. It's better to include lowercase, uppercase, and numbers to create a strong password and secure your account. Once you filled all the fields, tap OK.

If you are not logged in to Genius Cloud

1. (See above) Open Genius Scan > Settings > Premium plan and account > tap Log into your Genius Cloud account > tap Forgot password?

1. Your smartphone's browser will open. Fill in the information and check your emails, where a link will be sent to you to reset your password.

Android

1. In Genius Scan, tap the Settings button and choose Premium plan and account.

1. Tap Change password.

1. Enter your current and new passwords. It's better to include lowercase, uppercase, and numbers to create a strong password and secure your account. Once you filled all the fields, tap OK.

If you are not logged in to Genius Cloud

1. (See above) Open Genius Scan > Settings > Premium plan and account > tap I already have an account > tap Forgot password?

1. Your smartphone's browser will open. Fill in the information and check your emails, where a link will be sent to you to reset your password.

Web

There are two scenarios: either you are not logged in to your Genius Cloud account or you are already logged in. Follow the instructions based on your specific situation.

If you are not logged in to Genius Cloud

1. Go to geniuscloud.com and click on Forgot your password?

1. Enter your email and click on Submit.

1. You'll see a message confirming that a reset password link has been sent to the email address you entered.

1. Open your emailing app. In the email you received, click on the link.

1. Type your new password twice. It's better to include lowercase, uppercase, and numbers to create a strong password and secure your account. Once you filled all the fields click on Submit.

1. A banner tells you that your password has been updated.

If you are already logged in to Genius Cloud

1. Log in to your Genius Cloud account and click on My Account in the top right corner.

1. Click on Account Settings.

2. On the left panel, click on Password.

1. Type your current, and your new password twice. It's better to include lowercase, uppercase, and numbers to create a strong password and secure your account. Once you filled all the fields click on Submit.

2. A banner tells you that your password has been updated.
