Offloading documents

Offloading requires a Genius Cloud account, which is accessible with a Genius Scan Ultra subscription.

To save space on your device, the offloading feature removes local files associated with your documents that have been synced to Genius Cloud and not accessed for more than 30 days. However, this doesn't delete a scan. To open a scan that has been offloaded, ensure your device is connected to the Internet and tap a document to open it. Its data will automatically be uploaded back to your app.

  1. Open Genius Scan and tap the sync button.

The sync button is at the top left corner of your screen
  1. Tap Storage.

Storage is located right under the back up and sync orange button
  1. Choose Offload rarely accessed documents.

Tap offload rarely accessed documents

If you want all your documents back on your device, instead of choosing Offload rarely accessed documents, choose Make all documents available offline.
