Unable to log in to Evernote with a Google account

The Evernote "Continue with Google" login option fails with an error: "Access blocked: Evernote's request does not comply with Google's policies".

Unfortunately, that's a problem with Evernote, and they have not fixed it despite us reporting the problem since 2020.

Two-factor authentification (2FA) isn't working

The Evernote login screen provided to 3rd party apps like Genius Scan is broken and isn’t maintained, and it looks like they have no intention to fix it any time soon.

We recommend using something other than Evernote, as the application and its connectors have been unmaintained, and we can't guarantee that it will keep working well in the future.
