Troubleshooting Email Problems

Genius Scan must use the default email client to send emails on your behalf.

iOS

On iOS, the default email client is the Apple Mail app. Its icon looks like a white envelope on a blue background. For it to function correctly, you need to configure your email account in the iOS Settings.

Genius Scan does not send the emails on your behalf but hands them over to the email client. Issues emailing are out of our control, but in case you are running into some problems, please see:

• Emails are not sending, or your recipient receives them after a long time

• Send button is disabled

• An error message tells me my email is not configured

• I receive multiple emails from Genuis Scan

Android

On Android, you directly choose the emailing service from the export destination list while exporting a document.
