Import Word, Excel, Web Documents

It's possible to convert various documents to PDF and import them into Genius Scan. To do this, you need to rely on the Print option.

  1. Open the file you want to import into Genius Scan. For instance, in the iOS Mail app, select the attachment. In Safari, open a web page and tap the Share button.

  1. Scroll the export options and tap Print. You might need to scroll the horizontal list to the right if you don't see the Print option at the bottom of the vertical list.

  1. Pinch to zoom on the print preview to open the document as PDF in full screen. On older iOS versions, you need to perform a long press (or force touch) on the print preview.

The preview appears at the bottom of the screen

  1. Tap the Share button at the bottom left of the screen.

The preview is now displayed on the entire screen

  1. Tap Genius Scan and your PDF document will be imported into Genius Scan.

Choose Genius Scan from the list of all the export destinations
