Export via FTP

Exporting documents via FTP requires an advanced Genius Scan plan.

Set up FTP settings

iOS

1. To configure a new FTP integration in Genius Scan, go to Settings.

1. In Export, tap Add shortcut...

1. Choose FTP.

1. Enter your FTP settings. Then, tap Log in.

Android

1. To configure a new FTP integration in Genius Scan, go to Settings

1. Go to Export and tap Add destination.

1. Choose FTP.

1. Enter your FTP settings. Then, tap Log in.

Export via FTP

1. Scan or open a document and tap the Share button.

1. Choose FTP.

1. Select the folder you want and export your document.

Android

1. Scan or open a document and tap the Share button.

1. Choose FTP.

1. Select the folder you want and export your document.

Genius Scan does not support the SFTP protocol as of now. It doesn't support FTPS either.

We recommend checking if your hosting provider doesn't support WebDAV instead, which Genius Scan supports.
