From scanning your documents in ideal conditions to ensuring you export them with the highest quality, there are many ways to improve your scan quality. Follow these simple recommendations:
Make sure you scan your documents in a bright environment,
Make sure there is sufficient contrast between the background (a table, for instance) and your document,
Be as stable as possible when scanning your document,
Try to change the filter used on your scan (Photo, Color, B&W, etc) depending on your document's type,
