Search your documents

You can easily search your documents by their title, tags, or content (if you enabled Text Recognition).

You can look for documents from the Genius Scan's home screen or inside a folder. Looking for a document from your home screen will automatically search through all the documents stored on your Genius Scan App. Using the search bar inside a folder will let you choose between searching for a document amongst all your documents or only in that particular folder.

1. Open Genius Scan and tap the Search icon.

1. Type the name of your document in the Search field. A list of all the documents that share this name will appear. You can also tap the tag icon to search a document with its tags.

Tap the "Pertinence" tab to sort your documents alphabetically or chronologically.

If you are subscribed to an advanced plan and Text Recognition is applied to your documents, you can also search them with their content, not only their name or tags.

Looking for a document from inside a folder

Open a folder and tap the Search icon. Choose All documents to look through all the documents in your app, or choose Current folder to limit the search to the folder.
