Genius Scan makes it easy to email scanned documents. On iOS, you can use the Email shortcut, which sends emails through the Mail app. Since Android doesn’t have a built-in equivalent, you’ll need to select your preferred email app when sending documents.
Open the document in Genius Scan and tap the Share button.
Tap the gear icon to verify your desired email parameters in the export options screen (). Skip this step if you want to export your document with your usual export settings.
Choose Email at the top of the destination list. The document is attached to a new email. Fill in the recipient, and tap the Send button.
The Apple Mail app is the default way to send emails on iOS. We recommend using Mail; it's safe and secure, and you can use it with any email account.
If you don't want to use it, you can email your documents with another email app (including Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo Mail, etc.).
Verify that the email app is installed on your smartphone (for instance, the Yahoo Mail app).
Open the document in Genius Scan and tap the Share button.
Scroll the list of apps; you might need to tap More... if your app is not listed in the ribbon. Tap the app of your choice and follow the procedure to export your document.
If you drafted an email and want to attach Genius Scan documents:
Attaching a document to a draft directly from Genius Scan is impossible. However, you can attach documents already exported to your Files or Photos.
Tap the gear icon to verify your desired email parameters in the export options screen (). Skip this step if you want to export your document with your usual export settings.
