What is the difference between a photo and a scan?
Unlike a standard photo, Genius Scan automatically detects document edges, corrects perspective, removes shadows, and enhances readability. It also lets you scan multiple pages into a single document, apply filters for clarity, and export files in PDF or JPEG formats.

Genius Scan Basic (free version) – Fully functional for basic scanning, allowing you to capture, edit, and organize documents without restrictions. The Genius Scan Basic plan is free forever. There are no limits to the number of documents you can scan, and no watermarks are added to your documents.
Genius Scan Ultra – Unlocks advanced features like Text Recognition (OCR) to extract and search text, Auto Export for seamless cloud backups, and Expense Reporting to streamline financial document management.
Genius Scan for Teams – Provides all the advanced features of Genius Scan, including document backup and synchronization. It also enables companies to centralize license management and selectively enable or disable features based on their needs and security policies.
Genius Scan works 100% offline and never collects your data. Your documents stay private unless you choose to use cloud storage for backup.
